URGENT HELP FOR JESS – DONATIONS NEEDED – PLEASE SHARE

Tonight, we need your help for Jess. She needs urgent surgery and we need to give her the best chance of living the best life possible.

We rescued Jess from a rural and remote pound up north, knowing she had some concerns with her back leg, and that if we didn’t take her, she would have been euthanized due to that injury.

Jess has settled in well with her foster family and foster brother, but unfortunately specialists have determined that Jess has ruptured cruciate ligaments in both legs. Jess needs to undergo bilateral cruciate surgery. This will require her to undergo two separate surgeries spaced weeks apart and will also require extensive physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, to achieve recovery and the quality of life she deserves.

All up, her recovery is expected to take between four and six months. Jess is unable to play with her foster brother, or go for walks, or enjoy life the way she deserves due to her current injuries and pain. Jess is a loving, friendly affectionate dog, who absolutely deserves an amazing quality of life that we want to give her.

The cost and recovery for this surgery is $10,000. I know it’s a lot but we just need to do this for Jess, she has been through so much and it will give her the best chance of a happy life.
